As Space Artists, Women in Space Art (WiSA) combine curiosity & imagination together with knowledge in the scientific research of Space Sciences. Modern technologies such an Earth-based Observatories, probes and Space Telescopes provide access to observing the fascinating beauty of the Universe. WiSA artists experience an imperative quest to represent the Universe, and as understanding stimulates inspiration, the imagination goes beyond our earthly boundaries.

The WiSA Gallery presents a diverse gallery of 80 art works by 30 women artists, many who have been involved in Space Art for over 40 years. WiSA represent the women of the International Association of International Artists, (IAAA) founded in 1982, whose membership today of 200 includes engineers, technicians, writers, scientists, and teachers along with being professional artists.

WiSA Space Artists use their knowledge of the Visual Arts resulting in spectacular and creative works that stimulate and encourage all generations to connect with the cosmos.

WiSA Art Styles include Descriptive Realism, Cosmic Expressionism, Digital Space Art, Hard Science-Fiction Space Art, Hardware Space Art & Musical Composition.

WiSA Visual Art Material & Techniques include 3D Sculpture in Ceramic, Clay and Glass Arts, Fabric & Quilt Art and use

2D Painting & Drawing in Oils, Acrylics, Watercolor, Ink & Colored Pencils, Encaustic Wax & Pastels.
